3 DAY WINDS FORCAST ON THE WEBPAGE

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

:
Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the Sea this morning. I can see isolated pockets of fluffys and whispys here and there, mostly in the southern portion of the Sea. And…..it looks like most of the Sea could be fog bound this morning. These are from a large caldron of convection at the intersection of the ITCZ and about 100 out to 115 north. It is like a bit pot boiling over with clouds. They start of moving due north then are drawn into the influence of the low over Mexico and hook a hard right. By the time they reach the Riviera and the cape area they are pretty scattered and the real weather guys are calling this convection debris. The water vapor imagery is showing plenty of moisture in these debris clouds and I can see a good size thunderbumper just off the coast of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo right now. In the 24 hour loop I can see that as they traverse Mexico they have been spawning numerous thunderbumpers mostly in the mountains.
It looks like these condition will be with us again today, so expect to see mostly isolated patches of fluffys and whispys to pass over the peninsula from about Santa Rosalia south to Acapulco today. I would not be surprised to see some rain totals at the reporting stations along the Riviera tomorrow. Tis the season. In four days we began the official Eastern Pacific Basin hurricane season. Yippee!
Taking a look now at the west coast of the Baja peninsula with the GOES fog seeing satellite, it looks like again this morning there is a fairly heavy bank of fog hugging the coast from Turtle Bay, extending inland quite a ways at Turtle Bay then north along the coast to La La Land this morning.
So looking north now to the West Coast of America where I can see some clouds moving along the northern storm track, Northern Idaho and Montana but the rest of the western conus is pretty much cloud free. It’s still cold to the north Yellowstone Park was 18 degrees this morning where to the southwest daytime highs will be in the 100-105 ranges today. These rather benign conditions to the north of us are forecast to continue well into the week.
Back down here in Baja we can also expect to see warm daytime temperatures today, La Paz probably hitting 104 today, this along with light winds and mostly lots of sunshine.
As a sidebar: I looked outside around six this morning and no fog. By 7:30 there was a bank of fog a couple hundred feet thick, working it’s way south down the bay. So I’d have to assume there is fog off of Pt Concepción this morning. This was confirmed by a local sighting.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
