NEW: 3 DAY WINDS FORCAST ON THE WEBPAGE

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

:
Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the sea this morning I can see a few fluffys here and there but it looks like both the Riviera and the Sea of Cortez will be seeing lots of sunshine today.
Looking around the Eastern Pacific Basin the only clouds I can see are some debris clouds picked up by the Pineapple Express that are still several hundred miles west of the Baja coast. We won’t see any of them until very late this afternoon and tonight.
Looking south to the Tehuantepec where N winds have been surging to 20 knots in the Gulf of Tehuantepec. They are forecast to gale force by this afternoon and to storm force by tonight. Right now it looks like they might lay down on Sunday evening.
The Gulf of Papagayo is forecast to continue with their 20 knot winds for the next 48 hours.
I can’t see any marine layer along the west coast of the Baja peninsula this morning so moving now north to the West Coast of America starting at the top of this image I can see a rather energetic system getting already slamming into British Columbia this morning. This will move east today and exit the upper Great Basin tomorrow night dropping some rain and snow as this cold front moves east.
The rest of the upper portion of the Great Basin is under a blanket of high pressure with mostly clear skies and unseasonably warm temperatures. This 1042 high pressure over the Nevada plateau is the top of the slide for today’s Santa Ana winds. The good and the bad news. The good news is this block of high pressure will be moving east today and tomorrow reducing the Santa Ana’s. The bad news is it looks right now that another 1040 high will build over Nevada early next week creating the same winds conditions we have now.
The southwest will continue to warm throughout the weekend.
For Baja today the entire sea will see less wind than yesterday, however the northern and central see will still be a tad on the gusterly side. The southern sea very pleasant winds.
So lots of sun today with diminishing winds and temperatures inching up a degree or two except in the northern sea.
