NEW: 3 DAY WINDS FORCAST ON THE WEBPAGE

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

:
Voice to Text……….
.Well, looking down into the sea this morning it looks like our hood will be seeing mostly sunshine today. I can see some light Pineapple Express action with a long plume of fairly dry thin clouds passing over La Paz right now. And that’s about it for any clouds in the Eastern Pacific Basin. Even looking out toward Hawaii all I can see are some high cirrus, whispys.
Even the ITCZ is devoid on any clouds this morning.
So while I’m down here, taking a look at the gap winds. I really wish I had a better handle on these gap winds. The other locations I use I am able to get some feedback so I know if the data is use is reliable. Of course no one is out in that mess saying “Hey Geary we are having some nice 40-50 knot westerlies out here.” So my gap forecast are more in the general nature. With that being said.
It looks like the Gulf of Papagayo’s strong NE winds have diminished just a tad but will rapidly rebuild and continue unabated for at least the next 48 hours
The winds in the Gulf to Tehuantepec will start rebuilding today and are forecast to reach gale force winds by tomorrow with occasional gusts in the storm force ranges.
So looking north now to the West Coast of America. About the only activity I can see on a satellite image is in the Great Northwest where a weak front is moving in over Washington State this morning bringing with it a chance of rain today and some lower snow levels. I can see that Portland is fogged in big time. Visibility about to the end of your car hood is forecast there this morning.
The rest of the western conus is under high pressure and pretty much cloud free.
As that Pacific high moves off the coast and inland today our strong winds down here should decrease by tomorrow and it looks like we will be back to our normal pattern of moderate northerlies in the afternoon. But today it will remain gusterly
