.Well, looking down into the sea this morning I can see just a few isolated fluffys but that’s about it. Just clear skies.
Looking south to the Mexican Riviera this morning. I can see some high whispys over Puerta Vallarta and further south, say from Cabo Corrienties south to the Tehuantepec there is a broad band of scattered clouds passing over this morning. They are emanating from a large area of convection centered on top of the ITCZ about 110. It looks like this will continue for most of the day.
Looking now at the Tehuantepec. The gale continues. Winds are expected to remain at minimal gale force this morning and begin to increase through the day. Storm force winds are forecast this afternoon and remain at storm force till mid day Thursday. Friday is not looking to good right now either.
The Gulf of Papagayo will continue to have 20-25 know winds all day, about like they have had for the past week.
Looking now out to Hawaii this morning. High pressure along the west coast is keeping everything to the west, north and south of it.
That long plume of clouds that I saw yesterday that ran from just west of Hawaii due north along the backside of the high then hooking over it into British Columbia and then dropping down into Idaho and Montana is still there. The rest of the basin is pretty much cloud free.
Back down here, not even a marine layer along the west coast of the Baja peninsula this morning.
So looking north now up to the West Coast of America. With the exception of those clouds I just mentioned moving into Northern Idaho and Montana the rest of the western conus is pretty much cloud free as high pressure dominates the area.
So we still have that big honk’n 1038 high sitting on top of the Nevada plateau, and down-slope the winds will continue through Wednesday. Thursday, here in the sea, we should be back to our normal moderate north westerly’s.
Today we will continue to see temperatures in the afternoon just a tad higher. Say mid 70s for the central sea and high 70s for the southern sea. The Mexican Riviera mid 80s.
The northern sea will continue to see northwest winds in the high 20 knot ranges today. The central sea mid 20s and the southern sea a tad less than 20 knots today. Tomorrow take off about 4-5 knots for all locations in the sea.
73s Y’all

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavour. They, however, are normally very close.
