Voice to Text---
.Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see that the Sea has again been cloud free for the past 24 hours.
Looking out to the west coast of Baja it looks like a fairly heavy bank of fog hugs the coast from around Pt. San Quinten north to central California this morning.
Looking now south to the Mexican Riviera where I can see that there has been numerous thunderbumpers working the mountain. All of these have been working their way toward the coast.
At 5:30 this morning there was heavy thunderbumper activity along the coast from a bit north of Puerto Vallarta to San Salvador.
About 250 miles west-southwest of Manzanillo is invest 95 that has been getting better organized in the past 24 hours. In this image I can start to see some spiral circulation to the system. Conditions are ripe for development of this system to become our next tropical storm. The National Hurricane Center is giving it an 80% chance of becoming a tropical depression in the next 48 hours. It looks to me like that will happen later today. Should this happen the next name on the list is Daniel. The forecast is for this system to move toward shore thus bringing more rain to the west coast of Mexico.
Looking at the ITCZ/Monsoon trough: On this image it shows the monsoon trough becoming disconnected around Panama and picking up again around 16N along the coast and like yesterday it then heads south again to meet up with the rest of the zone around 140W.
This entire portion of the Eastern Pacific basin is very active with numerous thunderbumpers working,
That’s what is going on in our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where the western conus will be seeing mostly sunshine today inland and early morning fog along the coast.
Northern California will see temperatures not quite as hot as yesterday and will continue to be in these ranges all week. This weekend will see temperatures drop as much as 10 degrees before heating back up next week.
Southern California will see temperatures in the mid 70s.all week can continue in those ranges next week as well.
Looking now over to the southwest where temperatures will be in the 107-108 ranges all week before cooling off this weekend.
Finally it really looks like the monsoon season could become active next weekend. The Arizona weather folks have been hinting at it for over a week and it finally looks like it will happen.
Well that is what is going on to the north of us. Back on this side of the Fence the far northern Sea will see moderate SE winds for the 3-day forecast period.
The LA Bay and Gonzaga bay will see brisk NE today and tomorrow and brisk SE winds on Thursday.
San Franciscito bay area will see moderate SE winds for the 3-day forecast period.
The Northern crossing area from Santa Rosalia to Concepción Bay and Puerto Escondido will see moderate NE today and brisk ESE on Thursday.
The southern Sea will continue to see light to moderate SW winds over the 3-day forecast period.
Temperatures today will continue to be in the high 90s with a few locations into triple digits
