FRIDAY, APRIL 4/08

A little haze across the harbour, breeze from SW @ 20 KPH, 3C to rise near double digit as the day moves along. Wind and moisture for tomorrow, but temp stays above freezing overnight - welcome sign.

Well attended, well conducted meeting on the fate of Swallow Tail last evening. No pointing of fingers for the point we are at now, mostly suggestions on how to move forward, a committee being formed to present options to Town Council, and the community on how to proceed. Impressive community spirit.

Quiet in the harbour this AM, no waterfowel to be seen or boats. With the heavy wind this past few days can't imagine very good off shore.

Price of fuel continues to edge upward, yesterday moved to $1.15/litre, not bad for us the national average at $1.14, maybe regulation is not a bad thing for the consumer.

Good Morning Rob
Grand Manan can't let Swallow Tail be destroyed. I hope they decide to restore the place.
Have a good day
