Overcast, temp -1C, draft from NW, but with sunrise wind increasing. Our touch of winter weather was pretty good, but not extreme. A fair amount of snow, sleet and a touch of freezing rain. Colder temps expected overnight and next few days.
School cancelled at noon yesterday, due to road conditions. Roads were treacherous by afternoon, especially when one off the main road. Expect in the excess of ten inches on the ground - great for snowboarding.
Scallops are scarce with a couple of hundred pounds being the standard. Have no idea how much 'looking around' has taken place as weather has not been co-operative.
