Partial cloud to the east, seasonable to say the least. NW @ a steady 20KPH, temp -8C with a windchill of -19C. Looking for some gusty wind next couple of days, with seasonable like temps till midweek. Wind forecast to go to the south and rain comes with it.

Both kids in thier own bunk last night, still catching up sleep from the past week. Emily out two nights, Rob supposed to but didn't feel well so come home. He had to refuse to offers after he got home, I believe he was wanting his own bunk to recharge then get going again.

Emily having a friend for New Years Eve so the planning underway complete with movies and a shrimp ring so far. Donna and I out for the evening, a meal, conversation and possibly a beverage or so for me.

Lots of traps coming home now prior to scalloping to avoid conflict of gear as much as possible. A scallop drag not very forgiving to a wire trap.

I'm along with Bugs for the New Year festivities. The wife and I usally spend it quietly with any remaining kids and are in sleeping shortly after the bell strikes.

Good Day,Rob.
Our weather is a carbon copy of your's today.Clear last night and perfect for seeing ISS when it passed by....first really clear night we have had for awhile.
I haven't heard for a few days how the lobstering is going here.I did here that the catch up 'til Christmas was good for most.
We are invited out on New Year's Eve....haven't decided yet.Better half has to work on Sunday,so we shall see.May just stay in and toast 2007 with some 'bubbley' from the comfort of the easy chair LOL.

Have a great day,
Al

Good morning! It does look a bit different up in your neck of the woods, temp-wise!

Don't think there will be much on tap New Year's Eve for us. Seems like years since we've been able to keep our eyes open long enough to see the New Year in. I'm not saying we're getting old but..... LOL

Sounds like Emily and Rob have been making the most of their Christmas break from school. Ah, I remember those days!
