MONDAY, MAY 12/14

Yesterday was summer like conditions, today something akin to late November. The high yesterday in low 20's bright sun, currently overcast northerly 20-25KPH, temp 5C. Temp not to rise much above high single digits, with a possibility of seeing some sun. Next few days an improvement promised with moisture for the end of the week.

Donna planning on getting at the yardwork, however has decided inside work more appropriate in these conditions. Fellows on the water went to bed last evening expecting a good day on the water, now will have to contend with cold northerlies with no respite for the daylight hours.

Lobster catch and quality on the upswing with a downswing in the price, forecast is less that $5/lb next time around. Seems the tankhouses have started to replenish their stock, price down far enough to make it worthwhile to speculate on future price of the animals.

Mornin CHUNKS, one helluva a change in weather conditions, yesterday ideal to back grumbling about the cold and wind, along with threat of rain showers before the day moves along.

MOTHERS DAY ideal weather, had the first BBQ, steaks were offered, the kids opted for a plate of hamburgers, seems as an appetizer, after each having a couple managed some steak, potatoes, dessert and whatever else was available, made for slow moving group after the meal.

Emily still on the side, but has some offers for later on, she would like to get at it sooner rather than later, Rob waiting for his debut at BAYVIEW, they have inquired when he will be onsite, and have a vehicle for him to pain the day he shows up, have reassured him, if he lives up to his billing, he will be on the payroll day after graduation, gotta luv it.

This part of the world the trees are reluctant to show us any green, but if you inspect them up close the buds are beginning to show, if we could have a few days like yesterday would help bring things around.

Have a good one.
