A grand one underway this morning, clear, a very slight NW draft, temp a cool 3C but will remain clear and temp to hit double digits by noon, similar conditions for the next couple of days. Indication that showers will be around by the weekend.
Boat well used on the trips I was on yesterday, all local folks doing whatever, obvious seiners had some fish past couple of nights. Lots of tanks of bait heading home, first fresh bait of the season, however will be no more till first of next week. Some of the weir guys still waiting for stakes, some of those ordered still standing haven't been harvested at yet, will awhile before they show up, if at all.
No birds in the harbour this morning, must have taken to the air pretty early, or have moved their location for a bit of feed.
