Weather as forecast, cool and damp, overcast with showers not too far away, 3C temp may increase a few degrees, not expected to make double digits. Wind from the north picking up as the day moves along similar conditions for most of the upcoming week.

Managed to make a small dent in the woodpile, however will not be a day to play with the stuff today, too wet. Thought might be done with the need for a fire, by dark last evening not the case, a few more sticks used, not many fires left in the seasoned wood.

BERNICE has been going steady this weekend, making up for lost miles I suppose, he returns to St. John on the last trip this evening.

Happy Sunday, Rob.

I'm a tad late getting around the blogs. I managed a few this morning but household chores have intervened.

We are WAY past the cold weather stage down here. I've been doing some yard work and, by golly, it was hot and sweaty work. Dirty, too. I do the pruning; Hubby does the cleanup. There's still some to be done but the biggest part of the job is finished.

We do have some possible rain on tap this week. It remains to be seen how much. Quite often those storm lines moving our way peter out by the time they arrive. We get some rain but not the severe weather.

I'm hoping for nice weekend weather the next couple of weeks. We have a trip inland to visit family at an annual dinner this coming Sunday. About and hour and half drive, either way. I'd just as soon not be doing in in the rain. The following Saturday, the MUSC Cochlear Program is hosting a picnic for implant recipients and immediate family. They have reserved a pavilion but it won't be big enough for everyone to get under, if it rains.

I'll have to keep my fingers crossed for good weather!
