No sun this morning, flurries are fairly intense but can see Ross Island Shore with no problem. Calm, temp -11C to rise slightly as the day moves along cold overnight. Remainder of the week temps and weather to improve to be more seasonal, around or above the freezing mark during the day and mainly clear for next several days.
Ferry Service resumed with the GRAND MANAN V out of Blacks Harbour yesterday at 5:30PM, will be some pent up traffic to clear over next few days and travel for the end of March Break to consider. No word on how long the ADVENTURE will be out of service. Problem with a Turbo Charger on the starboard engine apparently the culprit, this piece replaced a few months ago when she was in drydock.
Rob scheduled to make a trip home tomorrow, took BERNICE for annual inspection, major repairs required before she would be roadworthy. In the bay this morning at Canadian Tire getting her done, more than just a little help getting laundry money required this time around.
