Winter continues to show her stuff, overcast, -10C with NW wind 20-25KPH giving a windchill of -17C. To see some sun and moderating temps as the day unfolds, with cold temps overnight, gradual warming over the weekend. Longrange not giving any indication of better temps for many days.
Lots of activity on the "middle ground" and the ledges by the scallop fleet yesterday. conditions, for this time of year, were very good yesterday, clear, no wind or swell would have made the work day much more tolerable.
The southward exodus picking up daily, March Break starts after classes today. With this latest invasion of the ARTIC VORTEX one has to travel a long way south to get T-shirt weather, a strange and long winter has been the order of the day.
