Overnight high easterly winds, combined with heavy rain knocked the snow down, the odd piece of ground now visible between the house and the shore, certainly not the case where major snowbanks were born. Currently bright sun, temp 1C, calm, to remain clear, with temp rise to mid single digits, with stiff southerly by afternoon will take a toll on the snow. Similar conditions for tomorrow, next week, clear, but cool is the forecast.
No way of getting around in the bush for the next little while, if at all before breakup, with two loads home could be a cool in the house next winter.
Boats should have a grand day on the water today, catch remains worth the effort, especially with the price being good, a far cry from $3 to $6+ to make the return viable or not.
