A magnificent sunrise underway, brilliant sun up over Ross Island, a cool -10C, totally calm. Sea smoke making up as the sun rises, hard to describe seems to be changing by the moment. Weather systems lurking nearby with snow mentioned to south of us, however uncertain what track it will take over the next day as it continues north.
Main road completely clear of ice/snow by mid afternoon yesterday, back roads in good shape ones I was on clear or centre road clear for sure. Snowbanks well pushed back, haven't seen the need for this in many years, lots of kids taking advantage of the snowbanks tunnels and sliding the order of the day.
Emily babysitting overnight, Rob mentioned snow covered his windows at his apartment, he is on the bottom floor, but still seems worthy of comment.
