A few clouds, NW 20KPH, temp -7C will rise towards the 0 level, but not expected to make it over. Wind to increase as the day moves along. Longrange indicating our avoidance of the severe weather being endured in other parts of North America about to end, winter is showing up.

Cold temps and warnings of a major snowfall for Sunday starting to show up on the weather. Snow seems unavoidable, just the amount in debate, strong indications we are in for a foot or more, looking like a White Christmas in the offing.

Dr.'s appointment in St. John this morning, all hands making a last minute foray to insure no loose ends for the Big Day. Rob will join us for lunch, might save a bit for his weekend laundry, imagine his grandmother will insure he is left with a bit of cash at the lunch table.

Dear Rob:

I only heard about the major storm this morning when a few customers were talking it over.... the pharmacist also lamenting because she is flying to England for Christmas - leaving Saturday - flying in to Toronto first - can't see that happening now. I immediately went on the Grand Manan marine weather and it is giving 40 knot winds for Sunday, so that topped with major snow could be a blizzard for the weekend - forget just a dumping. That could also mean some major power outages. It would only stand to figure - Christmas dance Saturday night in the city and Christmas shopping on Sunday. Things are about to change.

Today we had sun all morning but it is starting to cloud over and the wind chill is a bit raw. That I not to improve - if anything get worse.

Well, enough complaining about things that might happen - enough to do to drive that out of my mind for awhile anyway.

Have a great day and talk soon.

Word. Chunks.
