A colder, clear day in commence, currently -8C, a slight westerly draft, temp to remain below the zero mark for next few days. Wind finally relenting lots of traffic this morning as the boats are going to work.

Emily has had steady work this week, she enjoys the prospect of a cheque, plus the group are having a good time working together, a new experience for all hands.

No word from Rob, he is not travelling this weekend, anticipate a 'laundry money' request sometime over the next couple of days. He is fast approaching half way mark of the Course, still enjoying the group and looks forward to going to school, a welcome change for sure.

Nova Scotia boats have a much better chance to get traps in the water than has been the case all week, hopefully traps in and no one hurt.

Potluck went well yesterday. Lots of food and a fair crowd of folks. Hubby and I returned home before dark, totally replete.

You got distracted yesterday, when leaving a message on my blog. You forgot to 'come back home' to post this to Chunks! I'm reposting it here for you. lol

Afternoon CHUNKS, nice and sunny still quite a bit of westerly, might qualify for Gerald's "bit of a blow" at the moment and temp beginning to drop a bit, wood fire for the evening.

Donna getting her "Christmas Present" installed this afternoon, a larger window in the sun porch. The original has begun to leak, a great opportunity to upgrade, or at least this the story to qualify the expenditure, and just say it is "my" Xmas gift, whatever works I guess.

Emily enjoying her new position, finding her body is a bit sore. The group is majority female and have been around a bit longer than Emily so she is being well care for and learning lots things, I am sure, not necessarily about lobsters.

No damage reported here overnight, the rain was steady, but no deluges. My wind gauge recorded a high of 88KPH early in the evening, didn't let up till towards daylight. That one is past will be another along before too long.

Have a good one.
