A typical fall morning in commence, NW 15-20KPH, a cool 2C giving a windchill of -3C, not much improvement can be expected as the day moves along. Rain for tomorrow, with wind, cool temps and possibly moisture for first of the week.

Morning coffee in sun porch checking out the harbour found at least two seals getting airborne and putting lots of water splashing. Not a common sight to see them that far up in the harbour, couldn't tell if they were playing or possibly chasing something.

Rob and Rachel on boat this morning, home for the weekend.

Time to locate my oil clothes, Rob used them last they are probably strewn between here and M.G. FISHERIES.

Dear Rob:

Bahaha - oilskins between there and MG Fisheries! It appears every household is the same. Kids 'borrow' - kids 'don't return' -- who cares? It's not theirs. :)

I see you are braving body, mind, and soul again this year for setting day. Good luck! Perhaps you should have been going to yoga with me all this time. Oh well, maybe after setting day you will feel the need to join.

We have not heard from kid yet so either too much partying, or, they are moving inland a bit. Who knows. If there is no threat of dying, there is no need to contact the `rents`. So, we will wait, and wait, and wait. ARG.

On way home from pretzel class in Quispam there were --- dare I say it --- snow flurries. I would have closed my eyes and ignored but, I was driving.

Well, time to get a handle on the dust bunnies. Have a great day and keep it real.

Word. Chunks.

Morning CHUNKS, from this distance appears your prayers have been answered, and Sara is correct you have little to be concerned about. Great to be so assured of your well being, albeit sometimes a bit too cavalier from a parents perspective, journey on.

Setting Day weather looking a bit typical, cold and lots of wind. Don't appear will be enough, at this moment at least, to have the Season delayed. Always a concern boats overloaded, crew climbing over and setting gear as the boat goes through unfamiliar gyrations till load is at least down to a more manageable level. Our skipper makes three trips, can't get them out any less, and takes a less of a load than we could jam aboard. As I mentioned earlier a good thing, a number of us are certified Senior Citizens, not as nimble as we once where, mind knows what must be done, just persuading the body to complete sometimes an issue.

Time to get serious about the outside decorations, today windy and cold enough to start playing outside with the lights. They don't go on till December, but takes a few hours to put them where they have to go.

Have a good one.
