Freeport, Maine, thick fog as daylight enters the swamp, last leg today, ferry booked till 5:30PM trip, seems this is fortunate as Donna can stop in Calais for some last minute looking. Also should get an opportunity to check on brother Roy before heading to Blacks.
Drive yesterday much better, great weather, traffic steady, but other than a hold up outside Boston moved along very well. Many more shoppers both in Kittery and Freeport than we have encountered when visiting this time of year. Hard to imagine what it must be like at the height of tourist season.
Back to the real world in a few hours, has been a great trip renewing old friendships and visiting old ground.
