Rapid City, clear, a warm 15C to make into mid 20's and remain good conditions as the day unfolds.
Drive south from Bismarck very interesting as the landscape changed from prairie farmland to cattle country. A vast country for sure, very few farmhouses, lots of fences.
We managed to get in the BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK, rather than stop at ROOSEVELT. Impossible to describe the landscape, remind one of the moon surface. BADLANDS a great moniker, certainly real estate that is good for nothing that comes to mind.
Touristy viewing again to day, RUSHMORE, DEADWOOD, etc. On the road to the east in the morning with a bunk in Madison, Wisc. the destination.
