Morning in Killarney, cool in single digits, to rise in low 20's, sunshine for the week. A check of the webcam indicates clear but windy this morning on the Bermuda of the Maritimes.
Drive out from Winnipeg brings back memories of the prairie at this time of year. A large part of the harvest is complete, however numerous fields still being harvested, lots of combines at work. The gear is larger than when I was on them, and more of them it seems. The drive renewed how flat this part of the world is, similar to looking out over the Bay, as far as the eye can see.
Communication from home less steady, seems they are finding can get on without the old people around.
No great plans for the day, going to NINGA for lunch then possibly have a look around the area before this evening. Slowly getting a plan together for the remainder of the week, a football game in Wpg. on Friday, a fowl supper on Sunday, then heading to Bismarck N.D. for a couple of days then begin trek to the east via Rapid City, S.D., as of today.
