Lots of sun, temp took a hit, currently 9C, expected to rise mid 20's then drop back to single digits overnight. Sun and temps similar for next few days, indication of some moisture early in the new week.

Rob's last shift this morning, MG has been good to and for him this summer, lots of hours and enjoys working with the group. A BBQ at noon yesterday with a presentation of a mobile tool box tops off his time with them. Will start moving his 'stuff' to the big smoke mid week, the apartment overhauled by first of the week.

Emily at the Park this weekend, has a job in the kitchen with SAILAORS LANDING starting on Monday. An opportunity for her to get some steady hours, and begin to put some cash ahead for next year.

Glad the kids are getting settled for the winter.
It is always hard for the youngsters. Hope the weather holds for the month of September. We will be doing more outside painting.

Wow.... I was a bit taken aback by mention of a giant sunfish that far north. They're considered tropicals.

Went googling and found the story on the CBC website. Sure enough, there it was. Poor thing. They do seem to think it met it's demise, tangled in ropes.

Chunks, you weren't far off. They're mola-molas.

Dear Rob:

L'il Rob does not know how fortunate he is! What an awesome gift from the crew at MG. Cody is still saving for his mobile. At $400.00 to $500.00 it takes a BIG slice out of the pay cheque. I am really impressed.

I am so glad Emily got steady employment. I can't imagine her being idle and also this is a good way to remind ones self that an education is very important; vs. washing dishes for the rest of your life :)

The big news out of Grand Manan is that the giant sunfish have come up in to the bay. One apparently came on to shore in St. Andrews - got caught in ropes or some such - otherwise a healthy animal. Rent-a-daughter is going to St. Andrews today to peruse. I was invited but too much to do here at home, plus didn't want to miss Saturday morning yoga torture. HaHa. I will wait for her report. There is a report on the computer about it. I think they are called Malo Malo, or something like that. Sorry if I screwed that name up.

So far today I have done the torture yoga, drove the kid to work at Kredls, three loads of wash and mowed the lawn. On to over seeding after this short break. Am I exciting, or what?

Well, have a good one. If you get any news of the giant sunfish, please advise. That goes for David too.

Outta here. Word. Chunks.
