Quite a change in temperature yesterday, a nice breeze SW moved the low 20's air around making for a pleasant day. Currently fog burning off, a slight draft SW, temp 19C to climb in mid 20's. Similar conditions for the next few days with lower temps being suggested.
Roofers at the Nursing Home have had to call it quits by noon, till late in the day due to high temps, not a common worry in our part of the world. No shingles evident as yet, but preliminary of one roof complete.
Rob getting some hours, nearly 13 yesterday, lots of sun, no hat, but faithful with the hoodie, makes one hot to look at the bunch of them in the teen uniform of the day, regardless of the weather conditions.
A few herring about, mostly on back of the island, a couple of more weirs nearing completion on front of the island. Apparently lots of 'herring signs' to justify the expense of getting them ready. Hope springs eternal in that business.
