On the prairie weather conditions would be described as a soaker, steady rain, not a downpour, just damned wet. Northerly 15-20KPH making the 9C a much cooler experience when outside, can't imagine who wants to be there in these conditions. Same forecast till at least tomorrow, suggesting sun might show on Tuesday.

Rob out the door 0630, must be shipping, works till late morning, then a Grad Food Sale this afternoon. Emily donning rain gear truck arriving on first boat with new inventory for the Garden Centre.

Puddle between here and the seawall has a few dozen gulls taking a bath, an eagle has been travelling overhead putting them up in a hurry. They return as soon as he is out of the airspace.

Morning,
Stuck in the same old weather pattern, day after day tends to create a lethargic lifestyle. When I met Emily ariving on the afternoon boat yesterday I don't know if I have ever seen a wetter bunch of folks coming off the boat. All in good spirits, happy to be here for the holiday weekend.

Bar Harbor will have about 125 cruise ships in this year. The first one came in early May and the last will be in late Oct/early Nov. Several years ago one came in mid April and it was spitting snow.

Rachel and Em both here until Tuesday. Lots of catching up to be done. Cindy has a food sale at the library this morning. It is her biggest fund raiser of the year. I do my part by eating a lot, which she demands I pay for.

Price at $4# for boat run with $5# price for our jumbo lobsters. Jumbo lobsters make up about 15% of total at this time of year.
