The unofficial weekend to start summer a dud, cool @7C, a steady rain, no wind. Temp might make it to double digits, slowly clearing by tomorrow, and return to similar conditions shortly after as the week unfolds.

Returned to Bermuda of the Maritimes first boat yesterday, managed to get the lawns under control. Not a chance to do some repairs on the winter kill, hoped to get at it this morning, not going to happen.

Believe concert patrol over till early September, however subject to change at a moments notice.

Emily below decks, has shift at 0900, Rob off working for MG first thing.

Afternoon CHUNKS, was in downtown Hampton Saturday afternoon, ladies had to see what KRUDLES had to offer. They are travelling tomorrow on their annual tour, an overnight affair, they travel from KRUDELS to St. Stephen checking things out. Weather against them for getting in mindset for planting, but calendar is saying now is the hour.

Saturday afternoon made a first visit, for me, to St. Martin. Impressive looking community, can only imagine what the good weather would bring to the beach, close to the city, but certainly nothing like the port.

Emily enjoying her job and looking forward to getting come coin for next year. She and her roommate have dibs on an apartment near campus, but far enough away that visitors will need a vehicle to get there.

Wet today, not much in the way of Yes Dear List being looked after, am assured it will be there once the weather does clear.

Have a good one.

Morning David, as usual weather conditions similar that little bit north of ya. Looking down your way yesterday afternoon, visibility good, however signs of what is on today quite evident.

Lobster prices in this market reflect your prices, hovering around $5/lb, catch, for the most part, still spotty, slowly picking up. A lot gear in shoal water, the harbour has more traps showing up all the time, weeks ahead of what used to be the norm.

Emily back home after an overnighter in Quispam, should be a busy day at the Garden Centre, however with weather like this doubtful. Rob looking after the weed harvesters or shipping lobsters, probably a combination certainly keeping him busy.

Donna is the planter in this union, I am the handler of the shovel, however don't believe will get much shovel time in today. It is our first Summer Holiday Weekend, Victoria Day, a prelude to your Memorial Day Weekend, hope you have better weather to start your summer season.

Have a good one.
