Overcast, a steady breeze NE making the -3C temp seem more like -10C. Conditions to remain similar with clearing for next couple of days, mid-week another system approaching from the west, unknown if we are in for snow or rain, but rest assured it will be something.

The students return to UNB on next trip, 11:30HRS, with no stops direct to Fredericton. Driving conditions should be same as Friday, good with no snow in the forecast. Weekend went quickly, however next week final week before Spring Break, Emily will be travelling between here and Quispam, I suspect. Emily in the look for summer employment late April the 1st year completed.

Bernice has the body work completed, once the brakes fixed will be in position to get her licensed and on the road. Rob not too concerned seems like his grandmothers vehicle just fine, and it comes with gas.

The views of the author are his/her own and do not necessarily represent the position of The Weather Company or its parent, IBM.

Happy Sunday, Rob,

I see you have a newly licensed driver in the family. You'd think he'd be in a swivet for Bernice to be declared road-worthy but the lure of a car with gas can't be denied!

Sounds like ya'll have had some really rough weather up there with the storms recently. Despite the weather, it seems there's been quite a bit going on. Hockey, shopping trips.

I'd have love to have gotten my hands on some of that driftwood. We don't see too much of it on the beaches here. I think driftwood is beautiful. Probably because our waterfront isn't littered with it after storms!

Enjoy all the social gatherings for the Ladies' hockey teams. Local hospitality must be extended!

Dear Rob:

I clearly hear what you are saying about Emily driving her own vehicle again. I still feel the same way everytime one of mine say they are going further than the store, :) Be happy in knowing that we have zero wind at the moment, no snow, and it is actually quite pleasant.

My girls will be heading back at 3:30 as Bailey has a group meeting on the environment, or some such, for school. She also has to finish reading a book and prepare a paper before leaving for Belize on Wednesday.

Good news! Cody got accepted for Block 2 mechanics, commencing in April. He was short like 30 hours - they have to have 1200 to take the next block, and there was only one seat left out of two courses being offered this year, so talk about fine lines. He can't wait to get his journeyman's, or red seal, and he will be out of here like a shot.

Well, can hear the first rustlings of movement so better prepare coffee. All were at a 'get together' last night and did not arrive home until 3:00 a.m. You know how soda makes you groggy in the morning. :)

Have a good day. Word,

Mornin CHUNKS, has been a busy weekend, the car getting loaded. Emily has enough stuff going back for the week, don't know what Donna would have sent back if she was going to be away for a few more weeks.

Emily pleased with her vehicle, now the anxiety of knowing she is on the road will commence, especially the first few trips. Today looks to be a good day for travelling, cool and windy persists here, but no hint of snow.

BERNICE getting nearer to being street legal, will be completed next week or so, then the granny wagon will be going up and down the road, at least till the first time he has to fuel aboard

The Hampton Women won the first game yesterday, haven't got a report of the afternoon effort. The two teams had some down time between games, which included a social gathering, not that would impact on the ability of any of the athletes.

Have a good one.

Mornin DAVID, I agree big city goings on has very limited attraction for me, a visit, a look around, and return to the backwaters works best for me.

The young fishermen from WOODS HARBOUR were halibut fishing, good catches, great price $10/lb, poor lobster prices and catches in the area prompted the pushing of the weather envelope in these cases. On Friday one of the fellows knew the area families involved. Thirty foot plus waves, last communication was the windows were out, the enclosure they work under gone, along with the stern board. Conjecture is she fellow over on herself. Just listened to the morning news, boat located, local fishermen near the scene with a dive team, lots of damage, no bodies located aboard. A trajedy with no closure for the folks directly involved.

Tony and Patsy off to the Town Hall Lobster next weekend to south of you, Sommerset(sounds like). He is through egging, poking around in his trap yard, weather permitting. Talking of halibut early in April, spring routine about to commence.

Have a good return to the Isle.
