A different stat to the day from yesterday, wind a mere 25-30KPH from west, temp dropped from double digit plus to -3C, wind to remain at this level for most of the day, and temps not expected to rise. Weekend seasonable temps and conditions the order of the day.
Ferry made all but late morning crossing yesterday, winds near gale force southerly all day. At high water the harbour splashing over our seawall, but did not flood, as has occurred in the past. More than a few shingles missing from the roof, just a signal a summer job for somebody.
Emily without power till early evening, the only light she had was from her cellphone,another indicator one can't be without the device.
