A big difference in weather conditions this past twenty-four hours. Weatherman suggesting sun for today, as of this moment no indication there is one, sky increasingly darker, a steady breeze 20-25KPH from NE, no sign it is going to let up. Temp a nice 10C, suggesting to get into mid teens.

SANDY certainly topic of discussion, however not much one can do about the weather, it will be what it will be. The weather conditions that have been reported not uncommon, with the exception of the rain, during this time of year.

Did manage to get the final mowing, I think, of the lawn, can't remember that being a requirement at this time of year. Time to put the gardening things to bed, and let the lawn have a sleep.

Rent a son sent a message to me on Facebook this morning via blackberry. He is working the salmon cages up in Prince Rupert area. Their emergency tsunami warning went off whilst they were feeding the fish. They had to donne emergency suits and abandon ship - so to speak - and head for higher ground. He said they were spending the night in the woods in the interior of British Columbia. God. I have not heard anything else about the earthquake or if he is out of the woods since then. Both coasts getting pounded at the same time.

Dear Rob:

Trip to Fredericton to take a dresser up for Sarah. I worked all last night to get it in what I considered an appropriate amount of cleanliness. She really couldn't care less.

She made an offer on the car she test drove. She had the list in hand that her brother gave her on what needed to be repaired. So far the owner has not countered but I think he was quite surprised that Sarah had done her homework. He said to her that nothing seemed to wrong - but she quoted prices for whatever and he kind of rolled the eyes. It remains to be seen. I would rather she left that one alone but 'live and learn'.

The wind has now picked up here as well. Coming over the blueberry plains and the mountains was heavy mist and wind, but once back in the valley the road wasn't even wet.

Cody cleaned all the gutters out of leaves whilst we were gone and was going to start roasting the emerg chicken for tomorrow, but had no clue where the roaster was??? Bahaha! Well, it was the thought that counted. He has now headed down to get a full gas tank and some cash - we are not sure for what. Then the boys are going to finish with last minute battening down.

Good luck and lets hope that it just passes us by.

Word. Chunks.

Mornin CHUNKS from a windy Ingalls Head, wind started just before dark has never let up. Overcast skies seems a bit brighter, no rains till later on tomorrow is the stroy I am reading. At least with the wind blowing out helps keep the high tide on the proper side of our sea wall.

Sara moving up in the world, now she soon learn what expenses are when looking after a vehicle.

Emily made the bus ride from Fredericton to Quispam, not without a bit of apprehension, new experience. Once on the bus many txts to nan, gradually tailed off, suspect finally got enough courage to speak to the person beside her. She returns to UNB this evening, she has certainly embraced the change in lifestyle. Rob also renewing friendship in St. John, Rachel first year nursing he up since Friday, Driving Lesson today returns this evening, rather quiet around the fort, no used to it.

David slowly getting into winter routine, he is the wise one, weather gets bad time to put'm on the bank. Here weather getting worse by the day, lets go to work, two systems, both seem to work.

Have a good one, and stay dry.

Mornin David, imagine your weather similar, a constant NE moving from a breeze to wind 35 KPH, barometer indicating on the rise ever so slight. Overcast, but becoming a bit more brighter all the time. The action is late tomorrow, the current track is well south of us when it comes ashore, but the combination of the two fronts quite something to follow.
Lots of trap activity this past few days, some moving from the trap yard to shore for final preparation still far too early to place any on the wharves, this kind of weather could see any piles on the wharf washed overboard.
No word on price, mere speculation at best, fresh bait going by this morning, have no idea where it arrived from, several vehicles with Exactics and pickup loads, to be dealt with.
Has been strongly suggested even with the marginal weather good idea to get the BBQ out, never know when it will be out of the question, get in the lee and cook some pork chops I guess.
Have a good one and tie r down.

Happy Sunday morning Rob, of course the huge topic is Sandy. She did a great job of cleaning my trees out. I should be thankful that was all. Hopefully you guys will fare well. I know Chunks has heard all our concerns on FB. So many friends in the northeast. It is going to be such an ugly time for NYC.

We just got home from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. You and Donna just have to go. It gets harder each time we go to come home. Just can't seem to do the two house thing. Two much responsibility. I would rather visit in a nice hotel. Check out the Rusty Parrot on line. This is where we stay. Such a special place with lots of TLC.

Well off to do Sunday stuff. Stay safe and let us know what was going on at your house if Sandi comes for a visit.
