Another spectacular sunrise in commence, total calm, red sky reflecting off the high water, a cool morning at -1C. Sun to remain with temps rising into mid-teens by this afternoon.

Hurricane SANDY getting lots of play, expected to be in our neighbourhood early in the new week. Exactly where and when it comes ashore is the major factor on whether it is truly the making of a PERFECT STORM, which will last for days, not a passing event.

Emily busing to Quispam after classess today, Rob off for a visit in St. John after classes this afternoon. Obvious mobility not a hinderance when the mind decides it must be elsewhere.

Otis at home, homecare in place, the transition - to this time - well accepted, wondering why he was not in favour to the arrangement before now.

Lobster fishing preparation moving along, more bait now in the system, with a couple of weeks to go most enterprises involved in deer hunting and maintenance mode.
