The sun is up once again, bright, calm, a cool 11C, weatherman says temp to rise to 20C for a high then drop back into low teens overnight, fall like conditions for sure. Longrange similar conditions as the moment at least.

Notice yesterday's entry didn't make it,must have hit the wrong key. Emily now a resident of Lady Dunn Hall, haven`t met her roomate, she had checked in and left by the time we arrived. The University to be commended for the registering process and getting her the Residence. I had visions of long lines and lugging stuff for an hour. Registered and had her key within five minutes drove up to the Residence a bunch of guys materialized didn`t have to carry a thing. Room set up, with Nan``s help, off to lunch, headed out of town within three hours. A definate void felt when leaving her behind, not much conversation for the first few moments leaving Fredericton.

A number of other university types and families on the boat yesterday doing the same routine. Some old hands and fellow graduates from Emily`s class, hope all made out alright.

Hi, Rob.

Changes, changes, changes. Your little chick is growing up.

OGal is right, though. Holidays will be more exciting, when the college girl comes home.

I know Miss Donna will be feeling the 'empty nest' syndrome rather acutely at first. You, too, if truth be known! Things will soon settle into the new routines and Miss Emily is only a phone call away. Fredericton isn't all that far, either.

I'm glad that the registration and moving in process went smoothly. Nothing like those husky college boys to pitch in and carry everything in for you!

Have a nice weekend Rob. I am sure Donna will be feeling lonely. The holidays are always so awesome when the kids come home from school. When our son came home the first time from Colorado he flew into Tampa. Of course we had to take the girlfriend along with us. She got the first kiss not me. I kind of had my feelings hurt. By Christmas we no longer had the high school girlfriend but a girlfriend who lived in Boston. Had my son all to myself. Get ready for the totally grown up child.
