A wooly one this morning, a breeze from NE @10-15KPH, foggy with visibility at 1/2 mile, temp 15C. Weatherman says it will be sunny, but much cooler barely making ti to the 20 level.

Rob out the door at 0600HRS this morning, tide work gives him some crazy hours for sure. Fishery news remains quiet, some crab trawls out, haven't heard what the catch is or if there is any price for them.

Dear Rob:

Gerald was to be discharged this morning or thereabouts. Jeanne came up on the 3:30 boat yesterday and went to Meghans in St. George. She wasn't sure if she would be able to get to the hospital on Saturday night or not - but by the time she called Gerald at the hospital we had the news he would be released. Presume John and Jeanne, or Meghan, would come up to Saint John this morning to collect. He is anxious to get going, but he is still weak. Yesterday was the first time he was allowed REAL foot.

Cody, meanwhile, is thwarted once again. He went to Grand Manan, as I told you to visit Gerald but he was up here by then, and tomorrow he has the specialist - at the Regional at 8:00 a.m. - and he planned on visiting Gerald after. The kid can't win :) I am proud that at least he is making a huge effort to remember his elders. He and Gerald were crib partners for years when we first started going to Grand Manan. Cody even had his own chair at the shed with his name on it???>? Of course, as Cody got older he didn't go with us as much. I think he is missing the 'good old days' now that he doesn't have to go with us and is grown up. Funny how that happens.

Anyway, went to the Irving Nature Park and the wind shifted around to being on shore. Had to put on a sweat shirt for the beach walk. Hard to imagine.

Well, have a good one. Word.

p.s. I would like to see the garden pictures and a picture of Emily too - RE; O'Gal's comments.

Mornin CHUNKS, great to hear Gerald is on the mend, obviousy still enjoys his crib games you no doubt 'tired' him out with rubber being a skunk. Any idea how long he will remain in the hospital, must have been something to keep him in this long, usually out the day after a procedure.

Cody no longer a teenager, a milestone for sure. Trust the gathering to celebrate was orderly and shut down at a respectable hour.

Fog beginning to clear, Ross Island just hove into view. Donna's garden efforts part of the TOUR the Art Gallery sponsored for this afternoon, needless to say the past week has been heavy with 'Yes Dear' odds and ends. The die is cast, but will be glad when the supper hour shows up, all hands will have come and gone by then.

Temp still holding at 15C, but high humidity giving the feeling of much higher, will be what it will be for sure.

If you visit Gerald let him know we are thinking of him, and will pass the good review onto to Otis later on this morning.
