A weather change this morning, fog so thick can barely seen the shore. Total calm, temp 14C, rained overnight, weatherman suggesting temp to rise near 20C, with showers and Tshowers in the forecast. The system moves off for a muggy weekend with possible Tshowers in the forecast.

Level of traffic on the ferries increasing, however with the capacity of nearly 1K vehicles per day coming and going the flow seems to be going very well. Noticed plates from Texas and Virginia, can only imagine they are glad to be in this part of the world rather than at home with the weather the folks n that part of the world are enduring this past week or so.

Fishing news remains quiet, Rob busy at M.G. FISHERIES cleaning up, salt bait tanks he helped clean out yesterday still in the air after his clothes given a thourgh cleaning, have been outside for two days and still know where they have been.

Dear Rob:

I will ask Sarah to look and see who Em is residing with for the oreintation week and ask if she could put her with someone who is equally a bit nervous about the first week.

We are in almost pitch black here. It could torrential rain at any given moment. Oh well, will not have to water plants at least.

Glad to hear the traffic is not nuts. May make a small trip this weekend to visit the folks and most likely a little hike. Will see how things go here.

It has been so muggy here that sleeping at night is not happening for any length of time. I could use a hoody kind of day.

Well, have a great day and hope you don't get rained on too much. Later. Word.

Morning CHUNKS, wooly this morning, no sign it will be moving off anytime soon. Will take it after the hot weather, for us at least, of the past few days. The afternoons have been fairly high humidity increasing the discomfort, however by the time to list off for the day has been about right.

As I mentioned travelling back and forth has been good so far, however no increase in the overnight accomodations makes the chance to stay, especially on an impulse a very iffy proposition. The 'strangers from away' level increasing daily, WHALES N' SAILS have found a good number of whales off of Whitehead, no mention of Right Whales as yet. They have been below Gannet Rock for a few weeks, but apparently haven't seen the need to move up further into the Bay.

Kids hard at it for summer employment, Emily looking forward to the University adventure, however is having a problem with the Residence concept. She likes her privacy, is a bit shy, as a consequence a bit apprehensive at the moment. She is attending a week long orientation effort for new Engineering Students in late August that will help her adjust I sure.

Have a good one.
