A slight change in the weather, finally, wind attempting to shift NW, a brief moment of sun, now hiding behind the clouds, Enough of a draft to move the flag, temp still in single digits, overcast and warmer temps till the weekend, then a change to the better in the offing.

Tides are full, bar out appears could almost walk to the Ross Island shore, a clammer or two taking advantage of the good weather, no rain, to get a bucket or so.

Grad prep order of the day, Emily has hair appointment this evening, the dry run to insure it is what fits the 'dress' and her desires, o my. Review for exams starting next week, a bit of tension till this is over with. Rob off to camp this weekend playing for a national camp being held in Fredericton, not the best plan, he assures us he is studying, will wait it out to see.

Dear Rob:

Too bad about the boat being on the bottom! Was hoping that she was afloat on the ledge. What a loss. Hope they do get that horrendous net out as many a creature will be going down with her if not. Awful.

What is L'il Rob going to camp for? Should be fun at any rate.

Don't worry about Em. She will get in to the August camp for sure. Those that really want it always seem to get there. I will tell Sarah to look for her then and put her at the top of the list if she sees her name. There is drag to be had. HaHa Will let you know on that one.

It remains freezing and windy here. NO SUN. Mosquitos still wearing wool sweater. Blarg.

Off to town. Have a good one. Word. Chunks.

Mornin CHUNKS, forgot to update you on the RELAY FOR LIFE this past Friday. A huge success, weather perfect, very well attended, last money count somewhere between $28K-$30K. Planning in commence for next year, the enthusiasm for the event continues to grow. The RELAY started three years ago by a Grade 12 student, a bit of work getting it off the ground, however she is to be commended on the legacy now in place.

Stories about the MOONRAKER going down abound, haven't spoken with the guys on the scene, as a consequence will make no comment. She is on the bottom, but the seine, fuel, etc. have to be accounted for due to environmental and shipping concerns.

Emily signed up for a camp in August to prepare for campus life, haven't received confirmation as yet. The idea is give them a leg up for the year coming at them, limited number of students, she continues to talk up the University Experiance, hope no glitches for her.

Have a good one.
