A nasty one underway this morning, heavy rain squalls, NE steady 45-50KPH, gusts 65KPH, expected to be steady and higher winds all day, veering SE this afternoon, into this evening before letting up sometime overnight.

Was supposed to travel with Donna's dad for Dr.'s appointments in St.John, decision to hold off for another day easily arrived at. Donna holding off till tomorrow to look at the trip to YoHo, not a good trip on the boat and heavy rain not best on the highway.

Dear Rob:

We had the heavy rain and high winds last night as well. For the first time, pretty much ever, we lost power three times, however, it quickly came back on. Those on another grid in our area did not fare as well. They lost theirs for quite a bit.

Yard went from dust bowl to frogs doing the back-stroke in the lower areas. Ducks also circling. Not complaining - we needed it. Can see the grass getting greener by just standing there and watching it.

Today is black, heavy clouds - rain and hail first thing this morning. Looking for more heavy rain and high winds as the day progresses. I think your non-travel plans were the best bet. Hope Em made it back okay. Yesterday was just freezing outside.

Good luck tomorrow and have a great day.

Word. Chunks.
