TUESDAY, MARCH 27/12

By: GRANDMANAN , 9:12 AM GMT on March 27, 2012

The hot weather has abandoned the area, now clear, a cold -6C being pushed around by near gale force NW winds. Wind to last for most of the day, letting up later on this afternoon.

A quick trip to Hampton for a business meeting, if the boat runs the order of the day. This much wind shouldn't have much trouble getting a seat on the boat this morning. Will see how things are when I get outside, want to make sure we have a ferry trip later on in the day, if not will stay put.

Dear Rob:

If you had have told me you were coming to Hampton I would have taken you out for lunch! Darn. I would have even paid. Oh well, better luck next time.

As you will no doubt find out - it is freezing here, also due to the NW wind. Thought the house was going to blow away last night. The cat was even spooked out during some of the gusts. Usually she could sleep through anything.

I hope your sailing was not too topsy-turvy. If nothing else, it would be a challenge.

Hope somebody takes you out for lunch.

Word. Chunks.
