Overcast, a slight draft from the west, -4C temp, not expected to rise if any. Temp to remain in the minus till Tuesday, then warm and southerly brings showers for a couple of days, then cold for next weekend.

A fair amount of snow down overnight, Ross Island outlined in white, a few ducks on patrol, quiet in the harbour.

Hockey New Brunswick rep here all day yesterday, all participants very impressed. Public Skate last evening another large crowd in attendance. The facility in commence from early morning till well into the evening, great to see.

Noticed a couple of boats shukking scallops yesterday, must be a few around, even in the poor weather limiting the places they were able to access.

Dear Rob:

Glad to see that the rink is going full-bore. You folks will be the only ones in the country to be sad to see winter go.

We also got about four inches of fluffie white snow last night which is indicating a nice snowshoe for today. Hubby busy trimming things up outside and then hopefully will be on the way. Bugs doesn't know what he is missing!!

Did you get on to the rink yourself for a skate yet? I am sure that once you hit the sheet it will bring back memories from old and you will be skating circles around the kids. Woot.

Well, I see husband heading in so that must be the signal - either we're going or we have to eat something before we head out. THE MARITIME WAY.

Have a good one.

Hi, ho and good morning to you folks up North.

I see the brothers are headed my way. They timed it nicely. I think the weather is warming back up to our normal average temps, after all the cold, ice and snow we'd had this past couple of weeks.

I realize it's nothing in comparison to what you get on the Island, Fredericton and Moncton but who wants to head South and wind up in the white stuff you're trying to get away from? LOL

I see the skate rink is a success. I know it's something the community has been looking forward to for a long time.

Ya'll have a nice Sunday!
