Lots of rain down and more of the same over next couple of days. At the moment total calm, actually very bright. Wind still a factor in the forecast, temp 7C, not expected to rise by much for the rest of the day.

Boat made the trip over in the yesterday morning, returned late afternoon, and that was enough.

Lawn has a windrow of rockweed two thirds up the front lawn, large logs floated in will need the fourwheeler to move them. First time we had that much big stuff float in over, lots of rocks up on top of the seawall, I was mowing there a few weeks ago. No way a mower can handle that stuff, I am sure Rob will offer to move things around to where they once were.

Weather for Setting Day not looking the best, NE 25KT both for setting and first day of hauling. Hauling not a big concern, keep your head down and hood up works just fine to keep one dry for the day.

Rob out overnight, Emily busy babysitting afterschool, last evening and today.

Dear Rob:

I can see L'il Rob up at first light volunteering to get that lawn cleaned up???? What are you smoking? Woot!

Cody on big date last night - flowers, dinner, movie, .... my car + some of my cash. (I enjoyed it so much)

Yesterday's gale unbelievable. Met up with some folks (Griffins) from Grand Manan - at the new Cdn. Tire. They came over on first boat. A wild trip but they didn't mind it. Said Grand Manan got a pounding. We made it to the Irving Nature Park. Yesterday City Police had it closed down. It appears that the waves were drove well over the park road. The anchored down, wooden garbage bins were pushed up in to the parking lot half way. Six inches of sand also in lot. Also logs, trees, huge rocks, seaweed, completely clogging the road. Can't imagine the power yesterday.

Rain again today, but nothing to yesterday's. On way to town there were six accidents, all obviously hydroplaning as single vehicles. No one knows how to drive according to conditions.

Plane diverted to Saint John airport with a load of patients from Afganistan. Sister - paramedic - volunteered to stay late to off load and take to hospital. She came in here last night at 11:30. Been a paramedic for quite some time but she was not prepared for the type fo injuries she saw.

Everyone out of here so going to work on art stuff for sale.

Stay dry ..... if possible.

Word. Chunks.

Good morning RRob
isn't it good that firewood is being delivered. You just have to cut up the logs and dry them out.
have a good day
