A nice morning absolute calm, clear, temp just below the freezing mark, a dramatic change from the past couple of days. Rain in the forecast next few days, enough of the snow already.

The complex is starting to come alive, the Boys & Girls Club getting set up. A few of the required final inspections from various Provincial personnel to be signed off, then ready to go. Have been awaiting info on assistance completing the ice surface, verbal feedback only, nothing on paper.

The change in the weather will allow more traps to move, and the fellows that have some in the water to have a gander to see if anything is moving as yet.

One report card in hand, as a result Rob is somewhat restricted from what he had available to him prior to the results of his lack of effort/commitment to his scholastic responsiblities. Not busted but very close to it.

Dear Rob:

I don't know if Jeremy was having me on or not, but I haven't heard a thing about the bank either?

Cody is gone with the car AGAIN. He went for a hair cut and then on to the play supper before tonight. This is the opening night for McBETH and there are some nervous people around here. Is it proper to say BREAK A LEG, or not. Apparently I am not to utter the word 'McBeth' around him - it is bad luck? Who knew?

On the studies - I have no report card yet, but son says he is "sucking out loud" in english (and he's doing a McBeth play?). Anyway, as result the english teach was very peeved and would not sign his paper for Advanced Placement History next year, which he has an 85 this year. I suspect his english mark will be even worse now as he is very upset with the english teacher. How is holding a person back from what he is good at because he is not great at english beneficial? I can't figure it out.

Anyway - beautiful day here. Actually went out a dug a few drainage ditches.

P.S. Before you hang Rob out to dry check out whether it was lack of commitment on his part, or, the teaching of a rather boring subject in a rather boring way.

Morning CHUNKS, new driver in the family is another added stressor for sure. Emily reminds us daily she will be 16 once Feb rolls around again. A mixed blessing, these guys on the go every evening, combined with other duties seems Donna and I are on the move all the time. Look forward to moving some of that along to Emily, mainland travel another issue.
Have heard nothing about the Bank moving, has been part of the fabric of the island for over 100 years. Once a jewel in thier organization, with our economic situation can't imagine if viable they are only marginal at best.
Great looking weather day, you folks have a good one.
