JULY 21/05

A continuation of yesterdays weather, once the day got going so did the sun, and heat. Overnight temp down to around 18C. Currently clear, no wind, temp 21C, and will increase as the day goes on.
This swing in the weather is almost too much of a good thing because of the high humidity, but still great to see the sun for an extended period of time.
Pump repaired and MISTRESS back at it, would have been a beautiful night on the water.

By: GRANDMANAN, 10:29 AM GMT on July 20, 2005

Succesful week in the herring fishery have approx. 170 Ton in the freezer at this moment.

JULY 8/05

By: GRANDMANAN, 6:31 AM EDT on July 08, 2005

At daylight fog so thick couldn't see the shore. Slight wind from the east, and fog is moving off. Temp 10C. Canadian weatherman saying clear all day, and US fellow saying overcast and rain. Looking out the window at this moment gives no clear winner - it is overcast but clearing.
MISTRESS has had a successful week of fishing, and will stand down for the weekend - new government(DFO)conditions.

JULY 7/05

By: GRANDMANAN, 6:34 AM EDT on July 07, 2005

Herring around, and we are getting our share.
Weather outlook much the same as we have for the next couple of days. A little is beginning to go a long way.
