Vertical Profile for Wundermap.

By: FunnelVortex , 7:11 PM GMT on November 30, 2012

I really want a vertical profile radar feature, kinda like what the guys on TWC use, for the Wundermap.

All that is avalible are those fancy, 200 dollar, radar programs. And I would just like to see basic vertical profile cuts until I can afford the software.

I think it would work just like the vertical cross section in Model Data. You make the cross section with two markers and view a 2D image of the cutaway.

Storms are not flat blobs, they have height. And I want to study thunderstorms, hurricanes, and blizzards with a vertical profile cut to learn more about thier convective structure, etc.

I think it would be a great educational feature for the Wundermap.
