We woke up this morning to some Valentine's Day snow showers around the area that may have slowed the commute down a little to our north. A swath just north of I-71 may have gotten anywhere between 1 - 1.5" of snow during the morning hours.
The snow has pushed off to the east and temperatures have began to rise above freezing this afternoon. I never previewed this event because frankly it didn't appear to be much. And for Circleville, it wasn't. Below is comparison pictures between Grove City and Circleville this afternoon, which are about 20 miles apart:
The same amount of snow fell between both places, but the difference for Circleville was the temps never dropped below freezing.
By the time rush hour hits, all of this will be gone for our entire area anyway. So just enjoy the view, it won't be around for long.
