2014 hurricane season forecast

By: Andrebrooks , 4:19 AM GMT on February 13, 2014

Now it's the time to think about this hurricane season, I am forecasting
14 named storms
7 hurricanes
3 major hurricanes

This year will be slightly above average due to expected El Ni├▒o, but with warmer than average sea surface temperatures in the MDR.

This is way two early for this

If we see a weak two mod el Nino we will be lucky two have 7 name storms or less
Yep, that would be something, unless we see another 2004.

Hello,
I predict
17 named storms, 5~6 hurricanes, and 2 major hurricanes.
I put into account the recent trend of weak, short-lasting tropical storms.
