Summer Is Fun: A Compositional Poem

By: 4CASTER44 , 10:53 AM GMT on June 10, 2013

Summer's great, summer's fun. School is out so let's play and run. Swimming in the pool and eating on the grille, going to great ballgames; such a wonderful thrill. Hey now, come on; it's the fourth of july, fireworks bang in the empty black sky. Run and get Sarah, Tommy and Ash, let's go to the pool to make a big splash. The water's refreshing, it's cool and it's nice, so they go into pool, not once, but twice. The sun is out and you sip lemonade. You relax in your lawn chair with plenty of shade. Mother Nature then becomes a really big pain, and she crashes down thunder and drips down rain. The storm soon passes and the sun begins to set, it caused a lot of damage, stuff that you won't forget. The remaining weeks go by and you do the same stuff, you can't seem to change, so thats a bit rough. Fall rolls around and soon it's time for school. You look back and said "it was hot, but we stayed cool. That's what summer is, a great season for all. Not winter, nut spring, and certainly not fall.

About 4CASTER44

I live in Ann Arbor, MI and love Summer. The reason is because I love to go to ballgames, eat in the back yard and just to nothing.
