Tropical Storm (Almost Hurricane) Arthur As Of Wed. July 2, 2014

By: 2CanadianHurricanes , 3:30 AM GMT on July 03, 2014

Dear hurricane lovers,

It appears that tropical storm Arthur is VERY, VERY,VERY close to hurricane strength. The intrusion of the dry air that is in front of the system is preventing the system from reaching hurricane status. I think that Arthur will be a hurricane very soon like around 2 am-8 am/11 am tomorrow. the hurricane hunters have found out that the pressure inside Arthur has significantly and rapidly decreased by around 2 mb per hour. It's pressure is around 988 mb as of 11:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
It has 70 mph winds. It is almost certain that it would make landfall near the Outer Banks in North Carolina as a 80-95 mph hurricane. The East Coast of the US and Atlantic Canada should prepare for the worst.
