A heat wave hit Perth,Western Australia this week causing the hottest temperatures to affect the region since February.Today temperatures at Perth Airport soared to 40 Degrees Celsius before a cooler sea breeze moved in.

Tomorrow the inland suburbs of Perth could experience a temperature of 42 Degrees Celsius before the cooler sea breeze arrives. This may break the previous record for hottest temperature recorded in Perth for this year. The previous record for this year was set on February 12.

The fire danger will also be severe especially over Perth Hills due to the dry winds from the east before the afternoon sea breeze combined with the intense solar heating as it is summer now in Perth.
