Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 1:30 PM MST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST
Tuesday...

* timing... through 11 am Tuesday.

* Total snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches.

* Winds/visibility... west to southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with
gusts up to 40 mph could reduce visibilities below one mile in
falling and blowing snow. The strongest winds are expected along
I-80 between Rawlins and Arlington.

* Impacts... mainly to travel and outdoor recreation. Those with
outdoor interests in the high country will experience
hazardous conditions with low visibilities and falling and
blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
snow and strong winds will create restricted visibilities and
drifting snow along area roadways. Use caution when traveling...
especially in open areas.
