Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 9:45 PM MDT Apr. 27, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon MDT
Friday...

* timing... rain and snow in the Cody foothills will become all
snow by midnight. The northern Big Horn basin will see rain at
times tonight... changing to snow toward Friday morning. Snow
will be locally heavy along the foothills.

* Total snow... 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts in the
Cody foothills. 1 to 3 inches in the Greybull to Lovell
corridor.

* Main impact... highways will be mainly wet, but will be slick
later tonight. The worst driving conditions are expected in
the Cody foothills, including the Highway west of Cody, as
well as Highway 120, tonight and Friday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
and slick roads with limited visibilities. Slow down, and allow
extra time to reach your destination. Check the latest Road
conditions at wyoroad.Info or by dialing 5 1 1.
