Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 1:58 AM MDT Aug. 27, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this
evening for low humidity... strong wind gusts... and critically dry
fuels for fire weather zones 286... 288... 414... 415 and 416...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this
evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* Wind... west to southwest 15 to 20 with gusts to 30 mph in the
afternoon and early evening.

* Humidity... 10 to 15 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
