Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 9:53 AM MDT Apr. 28, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight MDT
tonight...

* timing... snow should develop this afternoon with periods of
moderate snow through this evening.

* Total snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches, with locally higher
amounts possible.

* Winds/visibility... light northwest winds becoming northeast 10
to 20 mph this afternoon. Visibilities will be reduced to less
than a mile in snow.

* Impacts... hazardous travel is expected due to slushy to snow
covered roads and low visibilities.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
snow and gusty winds will create restricted visibilities and
drifting snow along area roadways. Use caution when traveling...
especially in open areas.
