Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 2:26 AM MST Feb. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 5 am early this
morning to 11 am MST Friday...

* timing... snow will increase this morning with periods of heavy
snow possible during the day today. Snow will gradually decrease
tonight into Friday morning.

* Snowfall accumulation... 5 to 9 inches with the heavier amounts
generally in the southern half of the County.

* Wind and visibility... north wind 25 to 35 mph with gusts around
50 mph causing considerable blowing and drifting snow and near
zero visibility at times.

* Main impact... roads will become slick and snow covered. Strong
north wind will cause blowing and drifting snow today. The
visibility will become significantly reduced in blowing snow.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, and or
blowing snow are expected or occurring. This could make travel
very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel keep some food,
